Send Emiliano to the 2010 American Youth Football Championships in Orlando 12/4-12/12
My name is Emiliano and I am in the 7th grade at KIPP Bayview Academy in San Francisco. A typical day in my life is waking up at five in the morning and getting dressed by 5:30 and eating breakfast by six. I leave for School around 6:45. My father then drops me off at school by seven. I then have to wait until 7:30 to go into school. I get out of school early at 3:55 to go home and practice football until eight. Afterwards, I do homework, eat dinner, and take a shower and don't get to bed until ten.
I know this may sound crazy but everything works out fine with my crazy schedule. I still manage to keep my grades at a 4.0 because I want to succeed in life and attend a top university. If it wasn't for my family and friends there to support me in school and sports I wouldn't have be able to be a scholar athlete. I am currently playing football for the Novato Yelowjackets and on Saturday we won our championship game against the Sacramento Dukes 33-0 to become Northern California champions. We are now eligible to play in the nationals in Florida 12/4-12/11 and need to have my full payment in by 11/27.
The only problem, my parents don't have the funds to send me to Florida. My mother was recently laid off from her job which she loved doing as a correctional officer at San Quentin. My father is a carpenter who works for Beronio Lumber Company but can't afford to send me because he has to pay for all of our family's bills.
Therefore, I am asking you if you can please help me and my parents to send me to Florida to play the sport I love and pursue the AYF national championship with my teammates. The funds will go for my flights, hotel, food, and transportation. I can assure with your support it will be well appreciated. As I plan to maintain my 4.0 grade average and continue to focus on my goals.
Thanks in Advance,
Emiliano
