Support U helps 1,000's of LGBT+ people each year. We deal with a variety of different cases; this ranges from individuals who need company with a cup of tea and a biscuit, to those that require counselling and individuals struggling with suicidal thoughts. They are of all ages, races and genders.

Unfortunately, this GoFundMe campaign is necessary as we can't make the rent next month. If we can raise £10,000 over the next month, it will see the charity and its services continue until the New Year. If not the service will close, and the support we have offered to so many will be taken away.

What does this mean:
* Greater risk of self harm or worse
* No social groups for LGBT minorities
* Loss of a vital lifeline for disconnected members of our community
* Lack of support to businesses and schools

We can’t emphasise enough how vital our services are to this community

We have set up the GoFundMe page so that you can create your own fundraising page in our name should you wish. We will get the money directly and quickly.

Every little bit helps. Please don't let all of the efforts by us and the community in fighting for LGBT+ rights go to waste. 

More information about Support U Ltd: Our dedicated support team provide specialist resources for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender people, their allies and those affected by LGBT+ related issues. Our team can assist with concerns ranging from employment to sexual health and coming out, and provide a  dedicated LGBT+ counselling service. 

Support U was founded in 2011 and has helped over tens of thousands of people in that time, with our schools programmes, and our support for trans/non-binary people, older and younger LGBT+ people, family members, and there is also our work with the NHS, police, and local council.
