Emergency: we have an outbreak of Parvo .
Who this will help
Emergency: we have an outbreak of Parvo. One kitten has passed. Another running a fever. Friday we spent $800 to try and save the first kitten. We are at the vet hospital now, waiting in the car for a tech to do a parvo test. This will be another $260 just to start. If you can help, we could use it.
My name is Elissa. This summer the number of neighbor cats raised dramatically. We have personally taken in 30 kittens, to care for and find forever homes. Up until now we have been funding their care mostly on our own.
Why I'm fundraising
We are asking any animal lovers that are able to consider donating. We have 15 kittens left in need of being spayed or neutered. Any donations would go directly to this cause.
The impact of your support
We want to make sure these kittens live a long happy life. We also want to help where we can, and that is working to stop the pandemic of feral, stray, and abandoned cats having kittens that for the most part end up with a short and hard life.
