<div>I’m a 50-year-old Australian mountaineer with over 25 years of climbing experience. My passion for high-altitude climbing began in 2007 when I summited Cho Oyu (8,188m) solo and without supplemental oxygen. That climb revealed my natural ability to perform in thin air and sparked a dream: to climb all 14 of the world’s 8,000m peaks without oxygen.

<div>After navigating the challenges of menopause and a life-changing divorce, I made the bold decision to fully commit to my dream. I sold my home to fund my climbs, but without further financial support, completing this historic challenge will not be possible.

</div>
<div>My project officially began on July 15, 2023, when I became the first Australian woman to summit Broad Peak (8,051m) without oxygen. Since then, I have also climbed:

<div>In total, I have 12 summits over 8,000m, including Everest, K2, Kanchenjunga and Nanga Parbat. Today, I am proud to be Australia’s most accomplished female high-altitude mountaineer.
