One team, one dream - our journey.

I am not discouraged, because every wrong attempt discarded is another step forward.

Tears swell up in my eyes as I write this note in hope that others will see the pain I have endured.  I have been married to my wonderful husband Kou for 9 years, a decade this November.  The dream we once sat down to talk about is still just a dream.  Not so many days has passed since the last baby shower I attended to realize that it wasn't for me, yet only a reminder of what I want and still do not have.  The smile across my face when I hear the great news of others expecting suddenly is overtaken by the pain and constant reminder of the battle we have been through.  I am so happy for them yet it hurts me inside, is it selfish to feel pain when others are so happy?

We have put in many years of treatment and thousands of dollars with no success.  We often ask ourselves is it a dream too good to be true?  The smile we put on our faces that everyone sees hides the pain we endure.  Kou often reminds me there is always light at the end of the tunnel but for me that light has dimmed failure after failure.  My wonderful husband has never left my side for he is the one who pushes me through our failed attempts.  This is our last hope; together we will try again and pray that you will help us on our journey.

I am a Nursing student with a double major in Healthcare Management.  My long term goal is to become and OBGYN specializing in Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility so that I can help others who have struggled down the same road we have.  Kou, served our country for 4 years in the Navy.  As a soldier he gave himself faithfully and fought for our country.  Now as a Veteran, we ask that you fight this battle with us.

We have scheduled our last attempt at IVF this December but financially we are struggling.  I love how people assume you have a bank account full of money (because you don't have kids) and are just to selfish to share but we have spent every penny we have in hopes our dream would come true.  Let love fill your heart with generosity as we ask for your support for any amount helps us get closer to the dream we wish to fulfill.

To give away money is an easy matter and in any man's power.  But to decide to whom to give it, and how large, and when, and for what purpose and how, is neither in any man's power nor an easy matter:
