14 years old fighting for life
This is my 14 year old nephew. His name is Tristian Niemi. On Halloween 2020 at 11:00pm he had a major heart attack followed by Grand mall seizures.
How did a 14 year old have multiple heart attacks you may ask. He's always had a problem with weight so he put himself on the keto diet. This diet was slowly killing him literally rotting his organs causing the heart attacks and seizures, now he has a brain injury as well.
The wonderful EMS workers worked on him in the home from over an hour to bring him back, so add Brian injury to the list. They had to restart his heart so many times we don't even know a number anymore. He was brought to the hospital here then moved to London then moved again to Toronto. He is in hospital for what could be months followed by months of physio. Mom and dad ( Megan Langevin and Randy Neimi) were put into a hotel because they needed to be close now they're getting kicked out effective tomorrow.
The reason I ask for so much is they are going to be in Toronto for months and hotels and food are not cheap. Any help would be appreciated and I mean any. If you have non monetary items you would like to donate he loves art and video games. Thank you in advance for any and all help please pray for my nephew and family we can use all the help we can get. My sister is trying to get into the Ronald McDonald House but I'm unsure how thats going, just trying to take some of her worries away so she can focus on her son my nephew. My sister also needs to fly my neice (Crystal Neimi) out to Toronto to get testing done on her heart as well because it turns out Tristians condition is genetic. So she needs the funds to get her daughter to Toronto as well. They also need help paying their rent on their place in Thunder Bay. Sorry for being vague I've never done this before and don't quite know what to say without saying too much.
