Shannan Landry is my youngest cousin and she was in a severe car
accident late at night on Friday, August 17, 2012. The cause of the accident is
still unknown, but we do know that there were no drugs or alcohol involved.
Unfortunately, she has sustained life threatening internal injuries. Shannan
has been intubated in the Critical Care ICU for over a week, undergoing
multiple rounds of surgery almost daily in an effort to save her life. As her
cousin, I am praying constantly for her recovery, but since I live on the other
side of the country at this time, I am heartbroken that I cannot visit her,
hold her hand and tell her that I love her. All I can do it try to help from
3,000 miles away. So, I am asking that you help me raise as much money as
possible to help Shannan's family pay her hospital and living expenses while
she is unable to do so. This is going to be a long, hard road for her and she
could be in the hospital for weeks and out of work for months. I can't imagine
how hard it will be for her, but I don't want her thinking about money when she
needs to focus on healing.
