Lisa M Mezera Memorial Fund
This is a Memorial fund for Lisa Marie Mezera.
Sunday August 19, 2012 was suppose to be a day of celebration, it was my son Andrew's first birthday. The family got together to celebrate, everyone was there except, Lisa. I tried to call her on her cell phone and it went straight to voicemail. As time passed, my father and I became worried. That night we called the police department and the local hospital. They had no information on Lisa. Monday morning my father called me very upset, he told me Lisa still hadn't come home. Also, he told me he had herd on the radio that an unidentified woman's body had been found in a local cemetery. My father called the police and filed a missing persons report. About 45 minutes after the police left, detectives show up at my father's house. They tell my father, what many of you have heard on the news already, "Lisa was the unidentified body; she was killed by strangulation and blunt forced trauma to the head and dumped in a cemetery."
Lisa was taken from her family, friends, and coworkers to soon! We are collecting donations to help pay for Lisa funeral expenses. Funerals are expensive. Unfortunately some of you know this already. Because of the nature of Lisa death there will be extra expenses. Please help out any way you can. Even a small donation makes a big difference.
Finally my father, myself and the rest of our family want to thank everyone who has reached out to us. Sometimes we have no voice, because this is so hard. Know this, your tears, your hugs, your kind words, the flowers that friends and even strangers left where Lisa was found, have touched us! One cruel individual full of malice and hate has taken someone very special. She was a loving; daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. Thank you again.
