Hello, I am King County Council Chair Larry Gossett, 

Please join me in supporting Tandy Williams, a National Delegate for Washington State who will travel to Charlotte, NC for the 2012 Democratic National Convention on September 1-7, 2012. 

She needs your HELP!! 

I have known Tandy all her life and watched her catch "Democratic Party fever" in the fall of   2007, heading into the 2008 Presidential election. She became one of the hardest workers in the state for the election of Barack Obama for President.

She saw a vacant spot in her neighborhood for a PCO, so she volunteered and then ran and was elected to the office. She has held that position now for 3 consecutive terms. She joined the 37^th Legislative District Democrats, who recognized a need for her passion on the Executive Board so she ran and was elected as a State Committee Woman, a position she still holds today! 

Tandy has never met a stranger; she's willing to speak to the issues with everyone she meets. Doing what she calls her grass roots politics 101, she has become a really gifted party organizer and educator assisting and registering more voters than anyone else in our community.

That is why I ask you to help me to get Tandy to Charlotte. We need this Delegate at the convention representing our state, voting on the Democratic Platform and helping to secure the nomination for our candidate Barack Obama.
