12 Hour Golf Marathon

On September 5th, 2017; I will be attempting to play as many holes (on foot) as possible within a 12-hour period to raise money for KidSport Calgary.
KidSport Calgary offers financial help to families that would be unable to participate in formal sports programs otherwise. The organization is on track to fund 4600 children in the Calgary area this year, so rest assured that your donations will go to immediate use for a worthy cause. On a personal note, I can confidently say that without the support of UK based charities and organizations similar to KidSport Calgary, I would not be where I am today within my career or even playing the great sport that is golf.
To add some value to this proposition for everyone, I plan to run a draw for everyone that donates at least $20 or offer a tax receipt*. For every $20 donation you make, you will receive one entry into the draw; for example, if you donate $40 you will be entered twice and if you donate $200 you will be entered 10 times. I will publicize the prizes as they are donated and at this stage Brian Howard of Taylormade Golf has donated a Taylormade M2 Driver and I will donate a 6 lesson package with myself at CG&CC. I will also be accepting challenges for the 12 hour golf marathon on the understanding that there will be a second donation if I achieve the challenge laid before me. Off the top of my head, challenges could be; to play a certain number of holes within the 12-hour period (world record is 221), to shoot a certain score in any of the round completed (I will only be using one club for every round) or to play a round under a certain time. I am open to all challenges – so feel free to get creative – and I will try to succeed in all of them if it means raising more money for the cause. Everyone donating is welcome to extend me a challenge, just comment what it is and what your second donation will be if I complete said challenge.
Thank you all very much for your support in this endeavor, I am sure you will get a great deal of satisfaction from supporting such a great charity and watching me suffer will be the icing on the cake!
