<div>Die Feuerwehr des Amtes Plessa in Hohenleipisch steht 24/7 seit 125 Jahren einsatzbereit. Viele Einsätze und Schulungsdienste haben wir in dieser Zeit erfüllt. Unsere Arbeit beschränkt sich dabei nicht nur auf Brandschutz, technische Hilfeleistung und Gefahrenabwehr, sondern auch auf die Brandschutzerziehung der Kinder und Jugendlichen durch unsere engagierten Jugendwarte.

<div>Dieses Jahr wollen wir unser 125-jähriges Bestehen mit einem Festwochenende vom 29. – 31. August 2025 feiern. Dieses Jubiläum soll nicht nur unsere Kameraden wertschätzen, sondern auch ein Dank an unsere Gemeinde wiedergeben. Des Weiteren können wir auf unsere seit 35 Jahren bestehende Partnerschaft zur Freiwilligen Feuerwehr Neudorf-Platendorf zurückblicken und wollen auch dies gebührend feiern. Die Planung durch unser Festkomitee läuft auf Hochtouren.

<div>Das Wochenende wird mit der Eröffnungsfeier im Festzelt auf dem Sportplatz Hohenleipisch beginnen. Am Samstag findet sodann ein Festumzug durch das Dorf zum Sportplatz mit anschließender Technikschau und einem bunten Programm für Groß und Klein statt. Den Abschluss am Sonntag macht der musikalische Frühschoppen.

<div>Leider sind solche Feierlichkeiten nicht nur mit viel Planung und Organisation verbunden, sondern erfordern auch einen finanziellen Aufwand. Die Miete für das Festzelt und die Technik, die Getränke- und Essensversorgung, das Buchen einer Band und eines Spielmannszuges sowie die Unterbringung von Gästen sind nur ein Teil der Ausgaben, die auf uns zukommen.
