Mike Harper's Memorial College Fund
On August 13th, 2012, a normal morning quickly turned into darkness for all the loved ones that were ever touched by Michael Elliott Harper. He was tragically taken away from us do to heart failure. Hovering around 6.8" his height kindly requested your full attention, but after just a brief intimate conversation was when you really got to know about his true character. One of the most playful, funniest, compassionate, understanding, and unpredicatable individuals I have ever met.
As I could go on about the personality traits that help mold such a caring and unique individual in our lives, I am really writting to focus on the family he has left behind. Mike Harper, leaves behind his lovely wife, Bre Harper, and his two adorable sons, Michael Jr. (5 yrs. old) and Christopher King (2 yrs. old).
Even though their mom is 6.1" and dad is 6.8" and they are destined to play in the NBA, we would still like to have a Plan B. In dedication to Michael's memory we have decided to start a fund to send his two young son's to college. All proceeds collected will be placed in a Charles Schwab 529 college fund account.
