Help me get to Costa Rica to help kids
I am about to embark on a once in a lifetime experience. I have made
the decision to travel to Costa Rica this January, 2013. This is solely a
volunteer/mission trip. I will be spending two weeks volunteering my time with
kids in orphanages, community centers, day-care centers, and
underprivileged schools. I am deeply and truly honored and
excited to be able to teach, lead games and activities, as well as help care
for the wonderful kids that I will meet. I am also excited because this trip
offers me opportunities to grow, not only on a personal level but on a
professional level as well.
Being that this is a volunteer trip, there will be no profit to myself.
With that said it will be my personal financial responsibility in order to make
this trip a reality. The total cost and expenses for this trip will be
$2,000.00. The expenses include registration fees, 24/7 support of the
International Volunteer HQ staff, travel costs, round trip airfare, stay
expenses for my host family, international travel insurance, and daily meals.
I would greatly appreciate any support that you could offer me which
would enable me to participate in this experience. Any contributions would be
