We are a group of believers(and a few non-believers,question ask-ers and
skeptics) seeking an authentic experience. A gathering where community
matters and culture is not the enemy. We have chosen the name 'The
Exiles' because we have often been treated as outsiders in our own
churches. We seek to form community while engaging the culture. In
essence, we want to be able to explore the relevance of
our faith to our daily lives. How does being a Christian impact our
communities, relationships, and professions. Instead of hiding from the
world at large we seek to engage and interpret it through the lens of
faith.
service starts around 11 am Sunday mornings.
We are located on Vine street in Poplar Bluff MO two doors down from Hays Music store in the old "The Well" building.
The only reward we have to offer is the good feeling of helping out. No funds will be used for personal needs. Every cent given goes to pay the bills. The goal amount will keep us operational for an entire year.
