Help Send 11/12TLL AllStars to CT

The Thurmont Little League 11-12 All-Star Team recently won the State of Maryland Little League Championship.  The team has gone an impressive 8 wins and 0 losses outscoring their opponents 107 – 17. Each year over 80 Maryland Little League organizations compete for the right to call themselves State Champions.  With this Championship, they have earned the right to represent the Thurmont-Emmitsburg communities, Maryland District 2, and the State of Maryland at the Little League Mid-Atlantic Regional Tournament in Bristol, CT from August 5th through August 12th.   You will be able to watch the boy’s games televised on the ESPN family of networks.  With this honor comes a great cost to our families to provide the boys a chance to compete at the Mid Atlantic Regional tournament.   Our families incurred a combined cost of nearly $19,000 to spend a week participating in the Maryland State tournament on the Eastern Shore.  Thus, we are looking to raise $15,000 to help fund the expenses (travel, hotel, and meals) of the families as they represent the State of Maryland. All donations will go directly to the Thurmont 11-12 All-Star team to offset the cost of competition and travel.  We appreciate your donation!
