I believe I am being called to be a priest in the Episcopal Church. It is what embraces me as I fall asleep at night, what spurs me on when I wake in the morning, and what gives passion to every breath I take.
My gifts and interests in the church are pastoral care, outreach, ritual and sacraments, and increasing understanding and appreciation for interfaith devotion and practices. God speaks to us in an infinite variety of ways. My path may not be yours, nor yours mine, but they are all sacred and each one cherished. I envision a church where ALL are welcome and the wonderful diversity of individual spiritual gifts are not just "tolerated," but treasured and nurtured.
