10k birthday run in aid of Safe Ireland

Hey there,

It's my birthday on October 8th and this year I've decided to celebrate it by trying to run a 10k!

I will be running the VHI Women's Mini Marathon in a bid to raise funds for Safe Ireland, an Irish charity that helps victims of domestic abuse.

While every company and organization struggled due to COVID-19 this year, domestic abuse services were hit the hardest as cases rose by an average of 25% across Ireland.

Your donation (no matter how small!) will ensure that Safe Ireland can respond to the emerging and ever-changing needs of women and children coping with unimaginable levels of trauma in a post-COVID era.

"At Safe Ireland, we have our pulse on the immediate, practical responses that women need now, but critically, we have our eye firmly fixed on transforming the way our country responds to victims of domestic abuse and coercive control and how we can prevent violence happening in the first place.

Your vital and generous support will help us protect more women and children from abuse. In a crisis and into the future."

Thank you for reading and should you donate, thank you so much in advance.
