Sri Chinmoy 10 Day Race

Greetings!

My name is Alex Ramsey, aka Barefoot Alex.  On April 17-27, 2018, I will be participating in the Sri Chinmoy 10 Day Race. 

This is an annual multiday event held at Flushing Meadows Park in Queens, NY.

Raising the ante, the course is contested around a 0.6-mile loop within the park.

This is when it gets exciting...

Though my focus will be on running, I will also be filming portions of the event.

I will use that footage to create a video.

The video will take an effort to create...

Covering 620 miles on foot is a serious undertaking.

But it has all the makings of a beautiful story.  The key component in crafting a solid video.

Sleep deprivation.  Sore muscles.  The ups and downs.

This is an opportunity to share with you the remarkable nature of the sport of ultrarunning.

Though there are many race videos online…

…very FEW showcase multiday events.

The effort that goes into this cannot be overlooked.
