Medical Trip to Nicaragua in July!

Hola! Please support my journey to the island of Ometepe in Nicaragua to intern at a naturopathic medical clinic! The organization, Natural Doctors International (www.ndimed.org), provides the community with free naturopathic medical care by volunteering physicians.

The program fee is $1300 for a 10-day internship. 

Currently, airfare is averaging $800 for a roundtrip ticket from Portland, OR, to Managua, Nicaragua.

I'd also like to explore a medicinal farm in Belize after my stay in Nicaragua. It's an experiential learning center and an awesome location for medicinal plant research. The organization is called Maya Mountain Research Farm (http://www.mmrfbz.org/Visit_intern_volunteer.html). 

It costs $200/wk to intern. I plan to intern for up to 2-4 weeks right before the start of fall quarter in September.
