100 K For Haiti

Hello everyone, this page has been created by Ryan Millar and Nick Carruthers as a platform for fundraising efforts in Haiti.  Ryan and I have signed up for the 100km Blackfoot Ultra in Edmonton on May 26, 2018. Our goal is to use our suffering to promote and raise money for two causes: 1) OSAPO (Organizasyon Sante Popile/ Peoples Health Organization)  mission and 2) The Children's Home orphanage. 

The money raised here will be divided between the two organizations and used for upcoming projects put forward by both charities. They each provide a unique and positive impact on the people and children of Haiti. We have been in contact with both Dr. Gardy, head of OSAPO, as well as Mackendy Philogene, founder of The Children's Home orphanage. On our facebook page, more detailed information has been provided, including a written note from Mackendy, a 10 year anniversary document from OSAPO, pictures, and links to their personal pages.

Our run is just under a month away, so our campaign is going to be short and sweet. Thank you for your continued support and contribution. We will continue to update you as we get closer to race day, or feel free to follow us on Strava, where all of our runs are posted.
