Minster Golden Gloves Boxing Club in Sheerness is affiliated to England Boxing and is not for profit organisation dedicated to supporting all ages and backgrounds. We offer a wide range

of fun activities from team games to keep-fit boxing all the way to sparring and amateur bouts.

Why We Are Raising Funds

Our members are increasing as our catchment area expands. To keep pace with this, we need to buy new equipment and resources, to ensure our club remains a safe and nurturing

environment for all members, and that it remains accessible to everyone within our community. Our mission is clear, we want to offer our members a positive, structured, and

healthy activity that they can rely upon week in week out.

Impact on Our Community

At Minster Golden Gloves, we teach children through to adults the values of respect, dedication, and responsibility through the sport of boxing and becoming part of a larger team working towards common goals. Our programs help members stay fit, learn discipline, and become part of a supportive community. Our volunteer coaches are all qualified, DBS- checked, first aid trained, and have up to date child welfare education.

The Ultra Marathon Challenge

To raise funds, head Coach Gary Spring will be running an ultra-marathon. This 100 kilometre endurance race from Richmond in London, all the way to Brighton Racecourse on Saturday, 24 May 2025. This challenge is not just a personal test for Gary, but a testament to the club’s commitment to the community and its members.

100% of your donations (minus GoFundMe transaction fees) will go directly support the

purchase of new equipment such as Pads, Gloves Bags and skipping ropes that will ensure we can provide

better coaching, better classes and give everyone the opportunity to be part of a growing

club that nurtures and supports its members with their individual and team goals. Together,

we can help children and adults learn valuable life skills, stay healthy, and be part of a
