Hi, my name is Nathan Fleming and I am starting my own fundraiser called, “1000 Kicks for Kids” in honour of my daughter Emily Susan Fleming who passed away in 2023 with Smith-Lemli-Opitz Syndrome.

1000 Kicks for Kids is a challenge for myself and others who want to participate in kicking 1000 NRL goals in 12 months to raise funds and awareness for kids diagnosed with rare syndromes and disabilities that make it hard for them to enjoy the little moments most of us do like swimming at the beach, walking through the forest or even kicking the football.

Not only is this raising funds and awareness for those kids but also for the parents whose lives are impacted by these rare syndromes and disabilities and yet they still do it every single day because there’s nothing better than seeing a smile on your kids face.

At the same time this is also raising funds and awareness for the parents like myself where unfortunately their kids with syndromes or disabilities pass away and the parents have to pick up whats left of themselves after a tragic loss and keep going because thats all you can do.

100% of the money raised will go towards the Smith-Lemli-Opitz Foundation, Make-A-Wish Foundation and Precious Wings Organisation.

Lets hope that I can reach my target goal with kicking 1000 goals for kids but most importantly, try give back as much as I can to the kids, parents and grieving parents whose lives are impacted by rare syndromes and disabilities.
