100 Miles for Harry & Milton Keynes Neonatal Unit

Hi all.. well here I am again! I can’t thank you all enough for how many times you have supported myself and Harry on our challenges and fundraisers! Harry requires another significant operation, this has come at a time when he’s struggling the most both physically and mentally. He will be non weight bearing for 6 weeks after the operation and daily physiotherapy is a crucial part of his recovery. The NHS currently offers minimal input as we found out last time. With the amazing amount of money I raised in 2019 Harry was able to have daily therapy, this costs £90 a session! Not only did it help his recovery, it eased his pain. I will be taking part in Ride London on May 29th..102 miles of cycling and almost 4000ft of elevation only stopping for a few minutes to catch my breath. This will be a tough challenge for me both physically and mentally but I’m sure the thought of helping Harry will help me get to the finish line! Harry would also like to raise money for Milton Keynes neonatal unit where he spent his first 8 weeks of life in an incubator, they are true heroes who looked after him whilst I couldn’t. Any donation will be so gratefully received and will really make such a difference to my warrior. …thank you all from the bottom of our hearts. Mel & Harry xx
