300 Foster Kid Summer Reading Bags!

On July 21st, families in the Fostering Together community will gather for some summer fun in Seattle WA. Twice a year we love to give these kids some new amazing books to brighten their world, fill them with hope, entertain their challenging days, and broaden their thinking and dreaming. This year each child in attendance will receive a SUMMER READING BAG  with 3 books of their choosing!

The academic statistics for kids in foster care are startling and unacceptable. Books not only help with their academic success but also, and just as importantly, their mental/emotional health!

Thanks to the 50% match by Usborne Books & More and the donated sales commissions, it is only $30 to sponsor  TWO foster kid's summer reading bag...$90 sponsors SIX kids! Foster kids not attending an in-person event will receive a bag with 3 age-appropriate books.
