100 at $100 We Need Help

Donation protected
It's been a long hard stressful move. A few weeks ago became one of the hardest days in some time.
When we moved, Dad tried to get the moving company to give us a price on the move. The moving company gave a price ($3500) on 8000 pounds. My Dad told them it was more than double that weight but the moving company said it wouldn't be that much more. So Dad budgeted for roughly twice the amount.
Then we moved to Ottawa, just to find out the place we were going to live in was sold. It took a month to find a place to move to. A month if extra financial spending. A month of putting looking for a place to live above finding work.
Then it took time to get in touch with the sub contracted moving company. The company Dad hired never returned any calls. Then it we found out that our stuff was still in BC.
When we first got the first delivery it was a shock at how much they were now charging. The moving company kept saying "well that was an estimate.."
It wasn't easy for Dad but he asked for help. One of his friends helped out by lending Dad 3000 to get that first delivery. The moving company said that there was still a few boxes and items left "maybe about 3000 pounds they said. Dad was touched by his friend helping but at the same time it was hard for him. Then a few days later the moving company called and said we still owed about 4000 for the stuff we got and that we should have about another 4000 dollars more to cover the cost of the second delivery. Yes we have a great deal of books but it feels like we were lied to from the start. Dad has barely slept or eaten. He has said he was sorry to me a few times now. He is trying to figure out a way to find the money needed. All we want is for this move to end, get working again and pay back Dad's friend.
Dad even asked the family back in BC for help. That was hard for him to do and for me to watch. The answer was no.
It was like, we thought that our problems were going to be resolved, one phone call ruined that sense of things improving. I hated what was told to my Dad and to me. Being told to just give up on getting the rest of our belongings from the moving company. For me to give up on my piano, violins and other items and for my Dad to give up on his own artwork and the majority of his 35 year comic book collection was horrible. It was as if this person didn't care.
Not only was I upset, it truly hurt my Dad.
So that said I'm asking for help. We have 3 weeks to raise money to get back on track. I'm going to start a new go fund me (the old one was a failure). I'll convince Dad to give it a try. I know how upset he is and how he doesn't feel good about being in need like this. But if 100 people each donate $100, (the average spent on a night out)then maybe we'll both have a happy end to this year.
So please help if you can. If you Can't help with money then please help share the go fund me I'll set up in the next few days.
