10 Year Old Maggie Leto’s Bone Cancer Journey

My name is Margaret Leto and we just found out our 10 year old daughter Maggie has a very rare bone cancer (Ewing Sarcoma) that is in her finger.  Only about 100 people per year get this type of cancer and only 1% are children.  She is quite the anomaly.  We were hopeful that it was a benign tumor, but after her first surgery the biopsy results showed us that it was not.

Within this next year she will have to go through chemotherapy and more surgery on her finger. She is so strong, outgoing and the most amazing girl ever!  I always tell her that God put her on this earth to make me smile and laugh every day I am with her!
