This fundraiser is a new and exciting project of the Dog Bus and upon completion 11 precious dogs will have travelled to find their forever homes.
We at Dog Bus are a UK based charity which helps transport and rescue animals across the UK and those from countries such as China, Romania and now Pakistan.

We have always had a special relationship with TWS a small NGO rescuing and treating street animals of Lahore, since we met Sandy a TWS dog needing a home. We work closely with the Vice President of TWS, Romana Bhatti who herself is based in the UK. With her support we chose to help more dogs just like Sandy and bring them under the Dog Bus banner to the UK to find loving homes.

TWS relies solely on donations to take care of their rescues as they receive no government funding whatsoever. In a country with no animal rights and no organisations such as the RSPCA, street animals lead a miserable existence with no one to turn too should they be abused, injured, sick or starving. They take in these animals, treat them and try to find them homes which is not an easy task.
The only crime these poor dogs have committed is to be born in Pakistan where these poor animals are thought to be impure and are treated with no compassion whatsoever. All of these precious lives have either been born at the shelter or have been rescued from the streets injured or abused.
Knowing that these dogs will never find their forever homes as they are local breeds and not the fancy breeds that are so desired in Pakistan, we could not leave them to pass out their life at the shelter. We have made a promise to these dogs to bring them to the UK and find them the homes they so deserve
All these dogs are so wonderful even though some of them have known nothing but abuse and cruelty from humans, they are all so loving and trust those around them. They all will greet you with a beautiful smile and we promise lots of hugs. Shadow and Joey were born at the shelter to a dog by the name of Spot, who herself was found heavily pregnant and about to be shot. Thankfully Spot was adopted but her babies have been waiting for a home for 3 years now with absolutely no luck.
Jamie is one beautiful dog with the most infectious smile, rescued as he had an injury to his leg. All were hoping that he would easily have found his home but sadly he is still waiting at the shelter.
Dollar is an absolute angel, she was rescued as her front leg which was broken had healed at the wrong angle. Sadly Dollar has a limp but that does not stop her from living life to the full and is one of the sweetest dogs ever and just needs a soft place to rest her body.
Flora was ever so tiny when rescued from an evil shopkeeper who had her tied up and was beating her. She’s all fit and healthy and so ready for a home of her own.
If you like to play catch and go for long walks then Jon Snow is the dog for you. Jon was rescued as a puppy and adopted only to be returned when a bit older as the family decided that they no longer wanted a local breed.
Ebony and Blue are the quiet girls who don’t get noticed much by visitors but that does not mean that they are not lovely dogs. They would so benefit having homes of their own which sadly will never happen in Pakistan.
Last but not least is beautiful Iris, who luckily has been reserved by a kind supporter but we still need to raise funds so that she may join her forever home.
For these dogs to travel to Paris the cost is coming to approximately £700 each. This may seem like a large amount but just think that this amount means a dog will get to live out their life in a loving home of their own.

Please note that the money raised will cover all medical bills including a complete vaccination course, serology tests, cost of micro chipping and the cost of sending blood samples for all the dogs to a European lab to test for rabies. The cost of air travel via any chosen Airline from Islamabad to Paris and the pet handling company in Pakistan. Cost of travel from Paris to the UK using the Dog Bus. Once in UK any associated costs for foster carers or homing costs.
All funds raised will be collected by us at Dog Bus and we will directly pay all necessary invoices.
