WINTER IS COMING - CAN YOU SPARE $10
TREV WANTS YOU TO DONATE $10 TO PASS IT ON CLOTHING & CO. SO THEY CAN BUY A CREW CAB UTE AND PROVIDE OVER 50,000 PIECES OF CLOTHING TO THOSE WHO NEED THEM MOST IN GREATER SYDNEY IN 2020.
Pass it on Clothing & Co. is a social enterprise based in Sydney with a simple purpose: to help support those experiencing homelessness.
They've been operating for over 3 years now, hold 13 outreach services each month in points north, south, east + west of the city and have now passed on over 80,000 pieces of clothing to homeless / disadvantaged communities.
The Bayswater 'No Birds" hatchbacks they've hired throughout 2019 have served their purpose but as they continue to grow so quickly + with more people in need presenting at outreach each week, it’s time for them to get a new crew cab ute that will last forever!
They have the stock to pass on but sadly not the space to cater for more people they see in need each week.
They need to add another 10,000 pieces to their outreach capacity so no one misses out on jackets, jumpers, hoodies + coats this Winter.
This is where you can come in and play your part!
They’d love you to help in their 2020 campaign and donate $10 to help them reach their target, so they can get a demo model VW Amarok, Mitsubishi Triton, Toyota Hilux or similar that's a few years old.
In 2019 they passed on 40,434 pieces of clothing and even though there were more people in need to help, they were unable to pass on all the clothing required with the vehicle arrangements they had.
It broke their heart to see people not adequately clothed to survive the night in the middle of Winter.
With your help they can buy this ute and then pass on over 50,000 pieces annually to society's most vulnerable.
Your donation will help them positively impact more people experiencing homelessness while also helping them to educate + engage the wider community, breaking down the stigmas surrounding homelessness and building that bridge of social cohesion that we all see + feel eroding by the day.
To get you more engaged + know how much your donation means to them, every person that donates $100 or more will have their name put on the rear tray, a legacy that will stay forever.
You'll be with them each day as they operate in those homeless / disadvantaged communities they service and the wider community, helping them continue to pass on clothing with dignity, compassion + love.
Together we can be the difference in the lives of those doing it tough and as the team always say, "there's a little bit of love from all of you in each piece we pass on."
