1 River Street is the new Joe Marcinek Band album and we are starting the pre order process! Also starting a social experiment to see if we can sell 1,000 Copies in 2024.  10 years ago I was able to sell a 1,000 copies of my first album “Both Sides” and now our goal is to do that again and more for my 9th album!  1 River Street was recorded in Massachusetts at Iron Wax Studios with Alan Evans producing and on drums, Nate Edgar on bass, Kris Yunker on keys, Brian Thomas - trombone Alex Lee-Clark - trumpet
Jared Sims - saxophone, flute.  The costs of putting out a new album easily reaches over $20,000 with recording expenses, mixing and mastering, musicians costs, physical production of the CD and Vinyl and then marketing budget is almost as much. While streaming the music is easily accessible on Spotify and online sites it just doesn’t pay like when you can actually sell each album.  In 1999 CD’s averaged to $18 and adjusted for inflation in 2024 that’d be $34.54. So we are only asking $25 per album. Now here comes the fun part! If you pledge today you get the full album download immediately! We expect the physical CD’s to arrive In about 2-3 months.  We can process payments on this site but also accept Venmo, PayPal, Zelle, cash app or actual cash! Feel free to preorder a few copies to give away to friends! Order 4 and I’ll send a very special unreleased live recording as well! Order 40 and I’ll come do a private house concert! Please include your email so I can send you the download link!  The album is not expected to be released until May so you’ll be getting the music well in advance before anyone! Once we hit our goal of a 1,000 copies I’ll release the full live album I did with Dennis Chambers at the Iridium in NYC! Audio and Video of that amazing performance! While a 1,000 copies is our goal with this amazing JMB community I think we can easily double that! If we hit 2,000 which is the ultimate goal and destination I’ll throw a very special concert that will be free and streamed for all of you my biggest supporters getting all of the extended JMB family of musicians together for a giant party!  Truly is a blessing getting to do this and I’m eternally grateful and thankful for all of YOU!
