1 Million Steps Summer challenge for SAS
Sport Against Suicide is holding an open summer challenge to Walk, Run or Jog 1 Million Steps from the 1st July - 30th September to raise money for Suicide prevention, helping us to deliver and fund projects that prevent suicide by enhancing wellbeing and good mental health. Help us to Provide counselling, support, and other forms of therapy to those who need it. Help us to support those who work in sport and those who play sport, be it in the community for fun, semi pro or pro. We do it all! Sport has its benefits to our health and wellbeing and is known to improve our mental health. It provides connectedness which is one of the biggest protective factors against Suicide. So, we use the power of sport to help those who maybe struggling or feeling disconnected from life and help people reconnect and thrive once again.
