On 28th March 2025, a devastating earthquake struck Myanmar, leaving thousands of families displaced, with significant damage to homes, infrastructure, and vital services. The magnitude of 7.7 has caused widespread suffering, particularly in rural areas where access to essential aid is limited. Many people have lost everything and are now in urgent need of food, water, shelter, and medical assistance.

In the wake of this natural disaster, communities across Myanmar are coming together to support each other, but much more is needed. The road to recovery will be long, and your help can make a real difference.

As a Burmese student, I’m launching a fundraising campaign to provide critical aid to those affected by the earthquake. The funds raised will go a reliable organization which is ICRC (International Committee of the Red Cross) and directly toward providing emergency relief, including:

• Food and clean water for those in immediate need

• Temporary shelter for displaced families

• Medical supplies to treat the injured and prevent further health crises

• Rebuilding efforts to restore homes and community infrastructure
