My name is Melissa Joyfully and I created this crowdfunding page for my dear friend Jeff P. (pictured above). Jeff is currently homeless (again) & he needs to have a place of his own before winter! Last winter he spent the greater part of it outside, cold & hurting.
Jeff has a heart condition and is on disability - but I know the truth - he has a HEART of GOLD! He has helped me several times, with money when I didn't have it, and even let me sleep on the floor of his studio apartment which he had briefly - because I had no place else to go.
Jeff is a follower of Christ, he carries his bible with him everywhere. Jeff is also a follower of Bob Dylan & most likely his BIGGEST Fan! He needs a place to plug in his boombox & listen to his favorite musician.
Jeff doesn't have any furniture, or a bed, he also doesn't have a car. The goal of this crowdfunding campaign is to raise enough money to get him into a place of his own, with furnishings - as soon as possible!
Any contributions will go directly to Jeff's new checking account which we opened for him August 23rd.
He has been homeless off and on for many years and since his hospitalization for his heart condition he has spent the majority of the last three years sleeping outside.
