'Super-hero'special suit for Milosz

Milosz is a very bright and intelligent little boy! In order for his body to keep up with his incredible mental capabilities he needs a ‘super hero suit’!

Milosz was born pre-maturely at 31 weeks by caesarean section. The delivery wasn’t as smooth as planned and Milosz needed to be transferred to a specialist hospital in Paddington (St. Mary’s). After Milosz got better and stronger his parents (Magda and Adam) and his big sister Ola could finally take him home, so he could finally sleep in his own cosy cot. Milosz’s parents were happy to have him home and his mum could finally cradle him in her arms.

The happiness didn’t last long. When Milosz was few weeks old his mum started to notice his unusual behaviour.  Ola was born 2 years before Milosz so she could still remember Ola’s development and how different it was from Milosz’s… She was told that Milosz's development would be slightly different as he was born pre-maturely. This gave her some peace of mind. But unusual development carried on. Milosz would cry a lot and would move his body in the strangest positions. At this stage Milosz’s mum knew something was not right. Milosz’s parents sought advice from different specialist in the UK and abroad. The diagnosis- quadriplegic spastic cerebral palsy…

Milosz is now 5 years old and he has been under the care of many different specialists for quite some time. The care he is receiving is really good, however some of the treatments don’t bring tangible results and can be quite tiring for Milosz. But his mum is not giving up and she is constantly searching for new therapies they could try. She is also performing his daily rehabilitation at home.

Milosz is unable to walk unaided. He requires a wheelchair or special walking aid. The biggest dream is for Milosz to walk independently or maybe even kick a ball one day…

There is this ‘superhero suit’ called Mollii suit which could make this happen! The cost of the suit is £4,100 (plus VAT). Milosz’s parents are already saving the money for it, but they need some support and even though the suit is the primary focus for now, the long term rehabilitation is also much needed.
