Expenses while recovering from kidney transplant

Donation protected
William affectionately known as "Woody" by his family and friends is in the fight of his life. NBC12 air his story about his desperate need for a kidney.

At the age of 15, while getting a sports physical, the doctor determined William’s blood pressure was high but treatment was never recommended. He was allowed to play sports. At the age of 18, William suffered an injury while playing football. This time, he and his mother were shocked to learn that his blood pressure was dangerously high.

Due to untreated high blood pressure, William's kidneys are no longer functioning properly. He endures dialysis FIVE days a week for four hours and 26 minutes a day. Dialysis is keeping him alive but a kidney transplantation would offer him a new lease on life. William is on the V.C.U. organ transplant list awaiting a match.

William is unable to work and has accrued numerous medical bills. This Clover Hill High School graduate and diesel mechanic would be forever grateful for financial assistance while he waits for a kidney.

William wants to live. He wants to work and contribute to society.  He wants to get back to his passions of hunting and fishing. Please consider donating to help William and his amazing mother get through this tough time.
