My granddaughter Isabella’s ear surgery is finally here.
She was born with Microtia and Atresia. Which means tiny ear with no ear canal and no eardrum leaving her deaf in her right ear.
Her surgery is scheduled for July 27 in Southern California. Where she will get a prosthetic polyethylene framed ear and an implanted Baha hearing aid. She is so excited to get her new ear and to hear out of her right ear.
However there are expenses not covered by insurance.
She has had a rough two years of being bullied at school because of her ear and hearing aide. She wants to be like the other children with normal looking ears. She doesn’t want kids to bully her because she is different.
