Lindas Road to Recovery (Funeral)

Donation protected
On December 14th, 2018 my mother Linda Lawrence had an emergency complication due to her hiatal hernia. She was rushed to McLaren where she was met with several tests, and a large amount of unknown fluid pumped from her stomach. The results of the endoscopy and mammogram of her esophagus showed 90% of her stomach was inside of her chest, making simple daily tasks even the most gruesome. She remained out of work until Late March, where she was then cleared to return to work despite having no corrective surgery. On April 17th 2019, my mother fell ill again, this time her heart stopped where she was later revived and put on a ventilator. She received emergency surgery to repair holes in her lungs and stomach. As of right now, April 18th 2019, she is still unconscious and recovering.

My mom has been accepting her dialysis treatment for a couple hours now. The goal is to rid her body of all the excess toxins her body cannot deplete due to the septic shock. One of the main nurses on her case said he’s seen people better off who have not been able to stabilize enough to receive dialysis. He also later said my mother is probably the sickest person in the hospital, but to remain cautiously optimistic. We are taking every victory and chance we can, and my mother has certainly proven she is not ready to give up fighting just yet.

Between the time my mother was off work prior to the April attack (Dec-Mar) she had extreme difficulties receiving her disability money from her employers provider. I am asking my family, Facebook friends and everyone in between to please donate or share. I do not want my mom to have to struggle or be concerned about money or bills if the disability company decides to take their sweet time again (they still owe her nearly 3 thousand dollars) I love my mom more than anything on this planet, and if I could, I would be the one operating or giving her whatever organ she needed. She is going to be off for another minimum of 4-6 weeks, and could definitely use all the love and support she can get. ❤️

All funds are being allocated to her funeral expenses. Thank you for all of your support.
