Excelcare's Wellbeing Technology Fundraising

Over the past two months, the Excelcare team have all been working hard to raise funds for a cause very close to our hearts! Many events have been held including our Walk for Wellbeing, where our Care Homes, Regional Offices and Head Office team joined in the event to raise money for innovative digital lifestyle tablets for all 33 of our care homes.

Excelcare have recently invested hugely in many digital systems including Wi-fi, apps and new equipment that is currently being piloted and rolled out in each home.

Our most exciting project is the custom-built innovative digital lifestyle system that is being built for all homes as we believe this will enhance the quality of life of our residents, through enabling them to use the interactive lifestyle system to play games, listen to music, view memorable films and photos, connect with their family and much more!
 
The teams' efforts have all been towards funding the electronic tablets that are needed for every home, enabling our residents to use the bespoke interactive lifestyle system without impacting on the homes activity budgets.

What's more, Excelcare's Chairman, Osman 'Ozzie' Ertosun has generously pledged to double the amount raised by midday on Wednesday 24th April!
