Pedaling 4 Parkinson's: East 2 West

Thank you all for taking the time to visit our donation page. This ride has been dubbed “Pedaling for Parkinson’s: East to West,” in honor of Adam's grandfather Robert Schaeffer, who suffered from Parkinson’s disease throughout Adam's young life until his passing. We aren’t riding for the story, we certainly aren’t riding for the exercise, but rather we are riding to raise money for the National Parkinson Foundation in an effort to fund Parkinson’s research and help those who suffer, or whose family member suffers, to gain information on improving their quality of life. We have teamed up with the NPF through Team Hope to make as much of a difference as we can.
We have set our goal to $30,000, of that amount, we expect 80% of all donations will go directly to the NPF, with the remainder going to the cost of the trip itself. We are hoping to make a large contribution to the NPF so that they know we are riding to support Parkinson's Disease research and for those who come face to face with this disease everyday.
