Even Miracles Need a Little time

As most of you know,  Kasey & I have been trying desperately to have a baby.  We had been trying for about 2 years, and finally decided we needed help.  We found Carolyn Maud Doherty, most women from Omaha, NE know Dr. Doherty is the person to go to get PREGNANT! My first appointment I found out I have something called PCOS (Polycystic ovarian syndrome)  for me this means I do not ovulate on my own, like most women do.  Dr. Doherty decided for us the best place to start was an IUI.  We bought our fertility meds which are needle injections that you inject into your belly, then had a few ultrasounds to see where my process of my eggs were at.  After this we got the procedure done.  I GOT PREGNANT! We were so excited! Most of you know getting pregnant on your first IUI is very unlikely.  Well my HCG levels were not doubling like they should have been.  They were increasing, and decreasing.  What I was going through was an ectopic pregnancy.  This is when the baby is stuck in one of the fallopian tubes.  My baby was stuck in my right tube.  I had to have emergency surgery to get the tube and baby removed.  This has been an emotional and physical adjustment for both myself and my Husband.  We are now dealing with a lot of hospital bills & another round of IUI is extremely expensive, which none of our insurance will cover.  We need help from our friends & family.
