EUROPE IS CALLING: Let’s build a monument to celebrate the EUROPEAN UNION in every capital city of each Member State. Starting by London before Brexit
This project will celebrate the European People, Identity, Culture, Diversity, Peace and the European Union project.
Idea Background!
Strangely in all European capital cities most monuments have something in common, i.e. they were built to remind us about tragedies, wars, dead soldiers, kings and victories over other European people. But what about a monument to celebrate peace, culture and a unique identity?
Now this is the time for us, proud of being Europeans to have a monument of our own and celebrate EUROPE.
How will it work?
We will raise funds for the monuments by donation. One city at a time, starting in London before the UK leaves the EU. Once a relevant amount is raised, some renewed European artists will submit their project and 3 of them will be selected. The donors will be invited to cast their vote to the monument they would like to become reality. Concomitantly we will be liaising with local authorities in order to seek their support and decide on the location.
