howdy lovely people,
I didn't invite you here so I can pressure you to give me money. I’m not here to show off or flex my resume. I’m not gonna say something like “if faith can move mountains, it can move your credit card.”
Fact: there are other places in this world that need your dollars more than Eugene.
Also fact: Eugene can’t do what he passionately loves without your help. This Christmas season, consider giving to your local Eugene.
There is an amazing movement happening in this country, and you can help me be part of it.
SEEK 2019 is a real top of the line type of conference put on by a nationwide college Catholic ministry (FOCUS). My first conference ever besides QuiltCon*. A ton of young Catholics growing together & building the kingdom for 5 days — my dream is to be one of them cause I’m still so new to my faith. SEEK is great, it’s awesome, and if you want to know more about it, let’s talk.

But here’s the thing, it’s in Indianapolis. Yup, the one in Indiana.
The total cost for me is $1400 — registration, hotel, food, and transportation for 5 days + flights.** I don’t have family, relatives, or wealthy lovers that can contribute. I took accounting this year and the math refuses to add up - so I’m putting my trust that the missing asset is God working through your hands.
I don’t expect all of you reading this to contribute. But my hope is that some of you will, and those of you who can’t can 1) share with people who would be willing and 2) chat with God today. I believe in the power of kindness and prayer. If my faith has taught me anything, it’s that God’s expectations are greater than my own. And I can't shake this feeling He’s expecting me in Indiana.
