Euan's Garden

Raising money to make the garden completely safe, accessible and fun for Euan. Euan is almost 6 years old and has quadriplegic cerebral palsy among other diagnoses. Euan predominantly gets around in his self propelled wheelchair or bum shuffling. Euan has recently started trying to talk but this is only understandable by those closest to him and with the help of makaton and communication technology. Euan is fed through a Mickey button in his stomach and has been tube fed since birth due to an unsafe swallow. Euan is an extremely determined little boy who just wants as much independence as possible. He has a huge love of learning. He absolutely loves playing outside, trying to climb and his absolute favourite, slides! The bigger the better. Euan has absolutely no fear! Currently, the back garden is extremely uneven, muddy and just inaccessible for Euan. Hoping to raise money to provide everything Euan needs to be able to enjoy his garden with as much independence as possible. Even, flat surfaces, ramp between heights, fence for safety, specialist and/or adapted play equipment, soft, safe flooring and a good bit of paint to make the place brighter and more inviting. Euans birthday is at the end of May and it would be fantastic if the garden could be a safe place for him to play by then but I do understand that money, time and the British weather is against us! Any support at all, big or small, momentary or an offer of a skill you may have, would be appreciated beyond words. I've been trying to find the means to create the garden Euan desperately wants and deserves for 3 years now but unfortunately, being a single mum to 2 boys with additional needs means there's always something else needed more urgently.
