Ethan's Cerebral Palsy Journey
Donation protected
As all of you know on the 22nd April 2015 my beautiful twins Morgan and Ethan were born at 29 weeks and spent a number of weeks growing and developing. Not long after Ethan was born we got the unfortunate news that he has a severe disability known as Cerebral Palsy and will have a range of difficulties and disabilities which he will have to learn how to overcome and adapt to as he grows.
Ethan is the happiest little boy I have ever met and melts everyone's hearts with his smiles and cheeky personality. He loves his sister despite not being able to walk or play with her as much but will smile every day regardless. Ethan is a smart boy and both me and his dad refuse to let his disability hold him back and will always try our best to make sure he never goes without and can achieve greatness in life.
Recently I attend a Cerebral Palsy support group for parents to inform them about the disability and after a few sessions they went on to discuss therapy options and strong studies have found that Bobath therapy would not be suitable for Ethan or meet his needs long term as it is so expensive and would need to be more on going. So as a family we have sat down with his OT and Physios and come to the conclusion that Ethan would benefit from more specialist equipment, private swimming lessons and other specialist equipment which can be very expensive, all the money has gone into Ethan's private account and will update everyone on how much your donations are impacting his life and ability to be mobile and support his development.
Thanks so much
Love
Natalie, William, Miaa, Morgan and of course Ethan
