Esight for Koda

Koda was born with a condition known as Septo optic dysplasia. He is completely blind in his right eye and has less than 10% in his left.
His condition effects the optic nerves and is something that cannot be fixed via any surgeries. They are under developed and cause significant visual loss. His condition also effects his fine and gross motor functions as well as cognitive abilities.
Koda has struggled through schooling due to the lack of help available to help motivate him to learn. As koda has significant visual loss our options for assistive technology are very limited and restrict him from achieving the best he can. Koda was also diagnosed with autism last year.
We learnt about esight a few years ago and knew that this would be absolutely life changing for him. We were able to contact the Royal society of the blind in Adelaide and get a pair over for Koda to try.
We couldn't believe the moment he put them on and said " I can see everything!!"
The smile on his face was priceless.
We need your help to be able to get these for Koda. No funding is available for us to purchase them and we are desperately hoping we can get everyone behind us to get the funds together.
Koda also has a great love of music. He learnt to play by ear and continues to amaze everyone with his abilities. Koda makes his own music and has done concerts with Music Rock's Austraila. One of his videos is in the updates here.
