Dear Friends:
The main culprit for the mass migration from Honduras to the USA and Mexico is due to lack of educational opportunity and unemployment.

Honduras shows great disparities in education. The challenges that it faces are formidable and include addressing illiteracy among rural populations, improving access to secondary school, increasing enrollment in post-secondary schools, and improving overall educational quality. Those challenges make it extremely difficult to close the gap between Honduras, with an average of four years of education, and the rest of the world, with a global average of 12 years.

Rural areas like Pueblo Nuevo in Comayagua, Honduras are left with a great number of children with no schools. You can see by the photos, the conditions of the little school Mariano Caceres Chacon  This is how children attend classes each day

Please help us raise funds to buy materials and build them a two-classroom school and a computer lab for 50 children.

The labor will be provided by the community in Pueblo Nuevo.

The Children will appreciate it for the rest of their lives as well as  the organizers .

Thank you kindly,
