Escuela Waldorf en La Alpujarra

Somos una iniciativa Waldorf ubicada en Órgiva (Granada) desde el año 2002.

Nuestra larga trayectoria, de 15 años, ya está dando sus frutos. Tenemos un vasto terreno, perteneciente a la asociación compuesta por padres, madres y maestros, que participan, activamente en este proyecto.



En este preciso momento, necesitamos construir un edificio que cumpla con los requisitos que nos piden desde el Ministerio de Educación para así poder formar un centro educativo de primaria Waldorf.
Tenemos el apoyo del Ayuntamiento, de la Junta de Andalucía y estamos en trámites con la Consejería de Educación. El diseño técnico lo ha realizado el arquitecto Pedro Bel, experto en Bioconstrucción y reconocido a nivel internacional.


En la conexión directa entre la naturaleza y el edificio, queda reflejado un aspecto muy básico de nuestra Pedagogía,  ya que los niños trasladan sus ganas de aprender dentro de  esta ambivalencia, exterior e interior.
La construcción de este edificio supone un reto apasionante en términos de bioconstrucción, y está pensado para ser levantado con materiales ecológicos y tradicionales del lugar como son la madera, la piedra, la paja y el barro tratando a través de ellos, conformar espacios que sean ecomónicos y rápidos de construir así como sencillos de mantener.

Para poder colocar la primera piedra de este comprometido proyecto necesitamos reunir urgentemente en primera instancia 200.000€ destinados a construir:
- Las Primeras 4 Aulas
- Los Primeros Aseos
(En este importe se incluye el trabajo de arquitectura y diseño y, los materiales y mano de obra necesaria para la ejecución de la obra).

Si conseguimos llegar a los 450.00€ que figuran en esta campaña, lograremos levantar el Edificio al completo con todas las instalaciones y equipamiento necesarios,  para garantizar los objetivos pedagógicos de nuestro proyecto.
Nuestro principal cometido es que muchos más niños y niñas puedan acceder a este sistema único de enseñanza, teniendo en cuenta factores tan relevantes como la situación económica de la familia, facilitando todo lo posible el acceso a esta escuela.
 
De manera muy resumida quedará distribuido en:
- 6 aulas
- 3 baños
- 1 sala de desdoblamiento
- 1 despacho dirección
- 1 sala de orientación
- 1 sala de administración
- 1 sala de profesores
- 1 aula de apoyo pedagógico
- 1 sala de usos múltiples
- 1 biblioteca
- 1 gimnasio
- zona cubierta en el exterior

Mientras este edificio se convierte en una realidad, estamos dando las actividades en unos emplazamientos temporales, pero que son válidos para el Ministerio de Educación. Como podéis ver, tenemos ante nosotros un proyecto ambicioso a la vez que bello. Waldorf/Steiner schools like ours, are recognized by the Unesco worldwide and are governed by a series of values which emphasise the healthy development of the child in all its fullness, attending to its body, spirit and mind.

The Waldorf/Steiner Pedagogy views the human being on all levels and unites the past,  the present and the future. 
The past, because it is a pedagogy with 100 years of experience in adapting to all the changes in society and the needs of children, always regarding the place and circumstances they life in. In this way it is consolidated in many countries around the world. 
It is a pedagogy of the future, constantly innovative and a pedagogy of the present, because it focuses on the child in each moment of his/her developmental stage, giving the child the tools he/she needs to continue to grow in and towards freedom.

Our wonderful project is looking back to a long history of 15 years, that is now bearing fruit. We have a beautiful plot of land belonging to the Association, where both parents and teachers participate actively in the functioning of the project.
In order to be able to form an officially recognized Waldorf/Steiner primary school we now need to create a building in accordance with the requirements of the Ministry of Education. We have the support of the Town Hall, the Education Council and the technical design plans have been drawn up by the architect Pedro Bel, internationally recognised expert in Bio-Construction, respecting the natural aspect of the land as well as its essential functioning within the Waldorf/Steiner pedagogy.

The immediate connection between nature and construction reflects one of the basic aspects of our pedagogy: It allows children to learn from and within nature.
To us it is a great challenge to create an ecological building, applying traditional techniques and ecological materials (clay, straw, stones and wood) within the required dimensions of almost 500mts of construction and at the same time keep it as simple and economical as possible.

Initially we need to raise 200.000€ to complete the first phase, consisting of: 
-  the first four classrooms
- the first bathroom and toilets area
