Unfortunately, as of February 11, 2019, @1430, Esael Velez has been declared brain dead. This is truly a devastating time for our families and friends.
Esael Velez was born February 9, 2001 in Newark, NJ. This year he turned 18, this year he was graduating high school. A young man loved by everyone. Esael was already accepted into colleges and had scholarships lined up for the fall 2019 semester. An angel is gone too young. Esael dreams will live on!
At this time my family would like to ask if you can reach into your hearts and help us with this horrible moment. Such a difficult time for all of us to face. We would like to start collecting any funds to cover funeral expenses.
I do have great news! Esael being the great young man he is; registered to be an organ donor on his license! As his family, we knew this was the right choice!
Our baby will have the chance to give others the gift of life.
