Help with bills & overdraft

Janet Morris  HUNTSVILLE, AL
I'm on disability, which sometimes doesn't provide me with enough to pay for all of my monthly expenses. This past month was one of those times. I overdrafted my account by $500, which means that when my disability check comes, I will have about $200 to make it through September on. That won't be enough. I've cut out as many expenses as possible for next month, but I will still be at least $200 short.  If I overdraft next month, this issue will continue into October, which could continue into November, and so on. I'd just like to get this taken care of so that I can not have this stress hanging over me.

$400 would ensure that I could avoid any overdrafts next month and that I could put whatever is left into a savings account so that I can prevent this sort of thing from happening in the future.

I wouldn't ask for help if I didn't need it, but I really do need the help.

Any amount will be greatly appreciated.

On Tumblr, someone mentioned that I hadn't mentioned what conditions qualified me for disability. I realized that was probably some pretty important information to include.

The disabilities that are part of my disability case are:

- schizoaffective disorder
- panic disorder with agoraphobia
- arthritis
- ehlers-danlos/hypermobility
- undifferentiated connective tissue disease
- vertigo
- myoclonic & absence seizures
- asthma
- chronic migraines (this isn’t as bad as it was before BOTOX),
- anemia (deficiencies: iron and vitamins b6, b12, and d)
- fibromyalgia

I have other diagnoses in addition to these, but these are the ones that are the main part of my SSDI case.

After filing a complaint with the BBB over the return delays, being accused of lying about making the returns, having to provide them with proof I refuse the shipments (something they could have figured out without me providing proof), and having most of the money charged refunded, I'm still fighting over the overdrafts with them. I may or may not get them to admit any responsibility in the overdrafts—that they were a result of the company continuing to send items that were unwanted, delaying refunds by failing to log in returned items, and having an ongoing technical issue that prevents me from being able to cancel items via their website. This situation has been very stressful, especially since it's meant having to not pay bills.

Apparently, Amazon is taking their time processing the refunds. I have no idea when they are going to do so.

I made another error recently & over drafted even more. Last month I accidentally ordered some things from Amazon that I then tried to cancel, but couldn't get them to take my cancellation request seriously. (One acted like they were going to actually do something, but I can't get back in touch with them.) I've returned some of the stuff already & am in the process of returning more of it, but I can't keep up with the overdrafts. Anyway, the error I've been trying to get fixed for a month now has caused 10 overdrafts. My account is now almost $600 in the hole. I need help again. I feel ridiculous asking for it. But if you can help, I would appreciate it.

A Tumblr user asked for me to include my disability diagnoses, so I added those to the description.

I also want to thank those who've donated. I also want to thank those who've shared the link without donating. And I want to thank those of you who have offered your thoughts and prayers. I appreciate it all so much.

I know it's not a lot (we're struggling too), but I also know that even a dollar can make a difference. I hope that things look up for you soon! ♥
