This request is from Cajun Hunting Retriever Club to raise money to cover Ernie Istre's final medical expenses.
Ernie had surgery to improve his health a few months before he passed away. The insurance company did not cover these expenses. We are attempting to raise money to hopefully help his wife and family cover these expenses.
Ernie was an ambassador for our dogs and retriever club for 30+ years. He was a member or chairman of the Grand Hunt Committee for over 20 years. He was also the Region 10 Field Representative for 15 years.
Ernie made numerous sacrifices over these years to help us improve our dogs. Now is the time for us to show our appreciation by helping his family in this time of need.
