Ernest Stafford Medical Expenses

If you have received this notice, it’s because you know Ernest “E-Double” Stafford be it as a classmate, family friend, co-worker or relative. On Sunday, October 22nd, Ernest was involved in a serious motorcycle accident. As a result of this accident, he suffered some very substantial injuries - fractured left shoulder, injury to neck/shoulder vertebrae area and other miscellaneous bruises and scrapes. This will keep him out of work for at least the next four months.

Ernest has some  expenses that his medical insurance will not cover 100 %. This includes higher co-pays for medical stay, costs associated with intensive physical therapy and other miscellaneous medical expenses due to him not being able to work. He had been hospitalized for the last 10 days in ICU at Atlanta’s Grady Hospital. Today he was moved to the Sheppard Center located at 2020 Peachtree Road in Atlanta. At the Sheppard Center, he will undergo intensive physical therapy to regain full motion and balance. Basically, remembering how to walk, use hands with stability, etc.

Ernest and his wife (Melody) have three children. One son and two daughters. The daughters are in college and high school respectively. As you can imagine, with a long road to full recovery ahead of him, any funds donated by you will be used to pay for any the medical and household expenses not covered by his insurance beyond hospitalization. 

Your generosity is needed now - beginning November 1, 2017. I would share that Ernest has been helpful to many of us - whether it be financially, words of encouragement or his time and effort supporting a cause important to us. In his time of need, let’s demonstrate our support and love. You know he would do it for you.
